Where do we recieve keys to our accommodation?
Upon arrival you will be received by the owner or a representative who will deliver the keys and show you the accommodation. To arrange for the right time to handover the keys, it is important that we know when you will arrive.
Many guests prefer to be picked up at the airport by our local and experienced drivers – ask us for an offer. If you want you to travel to the accommodation on your own, we need to know
your estimated time of arrival (morning, noon, afternoon, evening).
Unfortunately delays sometimes occurs, in addition you must therefore call our Croatia Office (English speaking) on tel: +385 914 104 144 approx. 1,5 hours before arriving the accommodation so we can make sure it will be key personnel at the premises to receive you.
(If you have booked transfer through us there is no need call us, our drivers communicate directly with our office or landlord and informs us of your time of arrival).
Is it possible to acquire our accommodation earlier on they day of arrival?
If previous guests checked out more than one day before your arrival the accommodation might be ready for occupation even if you arrives earlier than agreed – but we can’t know this for shure before the day is there. If guests checked out the same morning the staff requires 4 to 6 hours (depending on the size of the the property) to prepare the accommodation for new guests. However, if you arrive before they are finished you can always ask the hosts to store your luggage on the premises until everything is ready.
Is it possible to stay longer in the accommodation on the day of departure?
It depends on whether there are new guests taking over the your accommodation the same day. Unfortunately we don know this for sure before the day is there. However, you can always ask the hosts to store your luggage on the premises and agree a time with them when you will come and collect your luggage.
Can we pay by Credit Cards?
iKroatia accepts payments with MasterCard or VISA creditcards – or by regular internet banking for lowest price. Many guests still prefer to use Visa or MasterCard to get the benefits of the travel insurances etc. often included in Credit Card payments. For payments with Credit Cards the card company’s transaction fee of 2% will be charged in addition.
In the high season July/August some places offers rental periods minimum one week with check-in/-out on saturdays only. This applies to some apartments with pool, and often to detached villas (ask us which ones). In the low- and middle-season rental periods are quite flexible.
How often will towels and bed linen be replaced?
In most cases changes is once a week. If more frequent changes of towels and/or bed linen is required this can in most cases be agreed directly with the landlord against an extra fee.
What is included in the rental price?
Unless otherwise stated, the following are included: VAT, tourist tax to Croatia, final cleaning, electricity, water, bedlinen and towels (for indoor use), air condition and internet (if installed).
